It’s not comfortable for a church to grow. It’s exciting. But it’s not comfortable.
New people bring new ideas. New opinions. New problems.
New people don’t know our traditions. They sit in our pew! They begin doing the jobs we have always done. They teach class differently; they pray differently; they worship differently.
If your church is going to grow, you have to be willing to embrace the discomfort. There will be change. Change brings conflict. Change brings discomfort.
Are you ready? Or would you prefer to remain comfortable and slowly dwindle away?
