Simon Dewey in The Kitchen

One of the most looked at posts on this blog is one of the oldest, a post I wrote about the woman at the well in John 4. However, people don’t come looking for what I’ve written. Several times a week, someone arrives to The Kitchen having searched for “Simon Dewey” on Google. That’s because I used an illustration by Dewey to accompany that post.

Simon Dewey is a religious artist from England. His works are strongly promoted by members of the Mormon church since Dewey is himself a Mormon. Admittedly, I knew nothing about him when I chose the illustration. It’s a bit ironic that he sends more traffic to my blog than most of the things that I write.

But that’s the way it is.

It would be easy to “play the game,” looking for the words or phrases that would bring people to the blog. I guess that’s what people do that try to make money off their blogs.
Hope I never stoop to manipulation to try and get people to read what I write.
    Grace and peace,

“Matthew chiasm” is the top search term leading to Simply Gospel. Searches involving “Obama” and “QuickTime” lead the most hits to Simply Robert, and my favorite is Simply Presentation: “Coca-Cola slides.”

If we are only looking for big numbers, maybe we should take another
another rout, one with a wider gate.
Mt:7:13: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
I doubt there are any among us who would be a better leader than Jesus. and he said the above.
