May the cross be ever before us. May it shape our daily walk.

O Lord, Creator of all,

Help me to see Your image in the people around me. Free me from disdain and ridicule, from distrust and suspicion. Free me from feelings of superiority and self-righteousness. May I see Your image in those around me.

Make me an instrument of Your peace. Make me a courier of joy and hope, of life and salvation, of goodness and love.

Fill me with Your Spirit and may I ever follow His lead.

I ask in the name of Christ, through Your Spirit.

Lord,

We ask that You fill us with Your peace. Take away our anxiety, and fill us with peace.

We ask that You fill us with Your compassion. Take away our selfishness, and fill us with compassion.

We ask that You fill us with Your love. Take away our pride and anger, and fill us with love.

May we be Yours today and every day.

Make me a peace maker. Make me into a conduit for Your peace. Help me to transmit hope and trust, calm and comfort.

Father of mercy, we call upon You to show mercy on our world. Heal the sick. Rescue the dying. Provide for the least among us.

And grant us Your peace.

Father of mercies,

Have mercy on the weak and vulnerable during these stressful times.

Grant unto we fortunate and secure the ability to see the suffering of those less fortunate.

Turn all of our eyes to you.
