A PRAYER FOR FRIDAY: We come to You, o Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, asking You to heal us. Heal us of our ambition and pride. Heal us of our love of comfort and wealth. Heal us of our lack of faith. Heal us of anger, jealousy, apathy, selfishness, immorality, competitiveness … of all the things that would impede us from following Your Spirit. Heal us of our sin, Lord, washing us again in the blood of Jesus. Make us more like Your Son each day. Amen
