Father,

I ask that You help me to be holy as You are holy. May Your Spirit make me look more like Jesus today. May Your Word produce holiness in me.

Make me holy, Father.

As a stranger and an alien living far from the city You are preparing for me, my heart longs for home. May I serve You well as an ambassador in this foreign land. May I not lose my way, nor forget where my homeland lies.

Through Jesus and by the power of Your Holy Spirit, we ask that You send Your peace to this world.

May we be peacemakers. May we create peace. May we seek peace.

Grant us Your peace.

May I enter Your presence with gladness each day. May I open each part of my life to You for renewal and restoration. May I surrender to You my beliefs, my convictions, my opinions, and my ideas so that You may shape them to conform to Your image.

May I be more like Jesus today than I was yesterday.

Remind me today, o Lord, where my homeland lies. Remind me of what nation I am a citizen of, so that my heart will not cling to any nations of this world. Remind me that I am a stranger and alien, an ambassador of Your Kingdom, a foreigner here on earth.

Be my King, now and forever. Lead me home to the city that You are preparing, so that I may dwell with You forevermore.
