Lord,
We come, confessing sin. We have sought power and control. We have looked to lord it over others rather than to serve. We have sought the good of a kingdom of this world over the good of the kingdom of heaven.
We confess our sin and ask your forgiveness. May we thirst for truth. May we hunger for righteousness. May we covet justice and mercy.
In the name of the One who bled and died for us,
