The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer
When Americans were first battling to secure the right to abortion, many Christians offered a solemn warning: To devalue life in the womb is to devalue life everywhere. To permit abortion is to introduce into society a culture of death that will inevitably lead to much wider destruction. Never has this been so clearly seen as in the scandal of Kermit Gosnell.
The Sermon on the Mount and Caesar’s Sword
So this is my question to American Christians who are fond of using Romans 13 to call for endless military buildup and the waging of what can only be an endless “war on terror.” Why are the American Revolutionaries of 1776 exempt from Romans 13? Is your use of Romans 13 to call for Christian support of American war-waging principled and consistent or is it self-serving and inconsistent? Are you using Romans 13 to help clarify how Christians should live as “exiles” within an empire, or are you using Romans 13 to endorse the militarism of your favorite empire?
Is the Greater Threat to the Church Liberalism or Legalism?

Singing the songs or reciting the sermon?
He raised a few chuckles when he suggested that people are more likely to leave church singing the songs than reciting the sermon.

The Church With a Cemetery in the Basement
In the early 1800s, the town of New Haven decided they needed a new meeting house. Though the plot of land they chose was already occupied by hundreds of tombstones dating back to the 1600s, officials were undeterred. Taking care not to disturb the final resting places of the deceased pioneers, builders created an enclosed chamber around the burial ground, then erected the building right on top.
Police receive more calls from Chuck E. Cheese’s than some Tampa Bay area gentlemen’s clubs
According to the numbers obtained by ABC Action News, deputies were called to the Brandon location 13 times in 2016 for assaults, batteries, fights and disturbances. There were a total of 25 at the 5 addresses in Tampa Bay combined.
We decided to compare other businesses to Chuck E. Cheeses and pulled calls for service at several gentleman’s clubs.
Charlottes Gentleman’s Club on E. Nebraska Avenue had 0 calls for service in 2016. But Mons Venus, The Penthouse Club and Goodies had a total of 27 assaults, batteries, fights and disturbances between them. Still, none had more than the Brandon Chuck E. Cheese’s.
