A PRAYER FOR FRIDAY:
Father, I will calm myself and be still. I will listen for Your voice as a servant awaits a word from his master. I will take my worries about today and fears about tomorrow and lay them all on You. I will take my anxious desire to control and shape the world around me and I will yield it to Your will. I will face my sin, confess it to You, and let you cleanse me again. I will calm myself and be still. Speak to me, o Lord. Amen.
